About Us

The Opportunity

This exciting leadership opportunity will see you working within Council’s Corporate Governance department, leading and driving corporate planning and reporting processes that respond to legislative or corporate requirements. In addition to this, you will be accountable for the delivery of key documents such as the Council Plan and Annual Report and lead the annual planning process.

Reporting directly to the Executive Manager Corporate Governance, you will provide strategic advice to senior and executive management and deliver the annual work program for the Corporate Planning and Reporting team that supports Council to meet its legislative obligations.

 

About You

In order to be suitable for this position, you will possess the following:

  • Tertiary or post graduate qualification in business, social sciences, management or related areas is essential;
  • Demonstrated experience working in a senior corporate planning and reporting role in a local government setting;
  • Well-developed communication, presentation and facilitation skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in project management; and
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
