About the Organisation The City of Port Phillip is an inner-city council with around 1000 employees who deliver more than 100 programs and services to our residents, businesses and visitors. These range from childcare and immunisations, to libraries, management of parks and open space, rubbish collection, road maintenance and more. About the Role The City of Port Phillip is one of Melbourne’s oldest neighbourhoods and has a rich cultural heritage. We are known for having a vibrant arts and creative industries sector that is inventive and inclusive. This role is an exciting opportunity to lead the strategic development of the City’s Arts and Creative Industries team and to help to build our community’s capacity to create, participate in and enjoy culture and the arts. The Arts and Creative Industries team delivers its services and projects through the City’s Art and Soul: Creative and Prosperous City Strategy and you will be pivotal in implementing this strategy by building mutually beneficial creative partnerships and collaborations with individuals and organisations across the municipality.
