Team Leader Customer Service



Do you have experience in leading front line teams across multiple regional locations, embracing new technology to improve the customer experience and process efficiency with a proven ability to challenge and improve process?


We are seeking a Team Leader Customer Service with:

  • excellent people management and coaching skills,   
  • proven ability to negotiate and influence a broad variety of internal and external stakeholders,
  • high level process, systems and analytical thinking and communication skills,
  • proven aptitude for new technology and service platforms including social media.


As our Team Leader, you will champion the efficient delivery and continuous improvement of our customer service through our call centre, from our service centres in Cobram and Yarrawonga and increasingly through our website and social media.


Reporting to the Customer Experience Coordinator, you will need to work across Council at all levels, and have the flexibility to undertake a variety of tasks. You will need superior organisational skills, leadership experience and the ability to prioritise competing tasks is a must. You must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team to achieve required outcomes. Experience in a corporate customer service environment is highly regarded.


The position is based in Cobram and may involve travel to our other centres across the Shire.
