With a focus on innovation and emerging methodologies, the Manager will develop a high performing team to advise and deliver on various learning strategies and solutions that enhance the capability of the diverse workforce at all levels. Reporting to the Manage Corporate Human Resources, you will identify, develop and evaluate learning and development solutions and strategies that meet the City’s strategic and operational needs.
To be successful in this role you must have proven experience leading an L&D function in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders using contemporary learning practices. As an L&D Leader, you will have a track record of delivering responsive solutions and outcomes through creative and innovative learning content, whilst managing competing expectations of stakeholders and clients. You will also have high level communication, influencing and negotiation skills and understand that the key to success is building high performing teams and leading by example.
As Manager, Learning and Development you will be required to oversee and manage the procurement of L&D products and services in line with the City’s changing needs, therefore experience in managing a corporate Learning and Development budget is a must. Hands on management of the LMS, course content, curriculum and evaluation will also be a daily part of the role.
Please note, candidates must possess Tertiary Qualifications in Adult Learning, Human Resource Management, other relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
