Nominated Supervisor
Liverpool is fast becoming Liverpool’s third CBD as the Gateway City to Western Sydney Airport and is going through rapid change and growth. Nearly 100 new residents are arriving every week.
We are looking for dedicated and innovative Nominated Supervisor's to support and manage the effective daily operation of our Early Education and Care services and to deliver quality educational programmes for young children and their families
It is essential that you have a Diploma in Children’s Services or Early Childhood Teacher Degree and Child Protection Training approved and recognised by NSW Community Services. In addition you will possess a current first aid certificate, experience in leading an effective team and demonstrated skill and understanding of the implementation of a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for children.
To succeed in this role you will:
- Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of an early childhood curriculum
- Successful development of innovative projects for Centre based services
- Demonstrated organisational and coordination skills together with effective communication and interpersonal skills inclusive of problem solving and change management
- Ability to reflect on, monitor and evaluate own performance and staff performance
- Demonstrated knowledge of Education and Care Services National Legislation 2010 and the Education and Care Services National Regulations 2011
- An understanding of current theories and approaches to early childhood education and care
Salary will be dependent upon the relevant skills, experience and competencies of the successful applicant.
