The Opportunity
TasWater’s Regional Services Department undertake water and wastewater treatment for approximately 50% of Tasmania’s population, as well as undertaking reticulation services outside of urban areas. You will be responsible for the functions and outcomes of a regionally based operational team, ensuring optimum service delivery through effective personnel, operational and technical management, with a strong emphasis on workplace health and safety.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to uphold a positive working environment that reflects TasWater’s vision, values and behaviours.
- Ensure the effective planning, scheduling, execution and reporting of Departmental Operational and Maintenance strategies, through effectively utilising Management Operating System (MOS) related tools and processes.
- Monitor and manage processes and infrastructure with a focus on customer service, process optimisation and compliance.
- Prepare high level reports on operational activities against key performance measures.
Your Application
Your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the selection criteria in the Position Description, summarised as follows:
- Substantial experience leading and managing regionally dispersed teams.
- Degree qualification in relevant discipline such as business management, engineering, or similar demonstrated experience.
- Experience promoting, implementing and developing strategic initiatives.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety.
