This position will work at the City of Ballarat owned and operated Ballarat Aquatic & Lifestyle Centre and will be the front line for the delivery of customer service. This position with be responsible for the supervision of all pools and the patrons within the aquatic department. This position will also require cleaning duties and general administration duties. Through high levels of customer service and communication this position will enhance the aquatic experience of the people of Ballarat.
Key Selection Criteria
Previous lifeguarding and customer service experience
Understanding appropriate response and action to emergency and/or first aid incidents
Demonstrated understanding of reporting and responding to hazards and issues of safety in a swimming pool environment
Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues relevant to work activities and work area
Current Lifguard Certificate
Current CPR, First Aid & Defibrillator Certificate
Current Police Check & Working with Children’s Check
