A fantastic opportunity exists for a five (5) year fixed term full time Manager Infrastructure Parks & Recreation to join Isaac Regional Council's Engineering & Infrastructure (E&I) Directorate, based within the Isaac Region.
Reporting to the Director Engineering and Infrastructure, the Manager Infrastructure Parks & Recreation will provide overall operational and strategic management and ownership of roads & drainage operational and capital programs and is responsible for the strategic direction, leadership and delivery of roads and drainage, parks and recreation activities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 10 years demonstrated senior management experience in leading & developing infrastructure teams, preferably within Local Government
- Proven experience providing technical, operational and management advice
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership and identifying & delivering community and customer needs
- Solid understanding of key legislation and associated regulations relevant to roads, drainage, parks, recreation, construction and maintenance operations.
- Tertiary qualifications in an Engineering discipline or significant demonstrated experience in a similar role
- RPEQ Accreditation desirable
For this position we offer:
