Casual Child Care Workers
Council has vacancies for Child Care Workers (casual).
Some of the duties and responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the effective and efficient operation of the Centre.
- Collaboration with Trained Workers in implementing programs and setting up play areas appropriate to each section.
- Maintaining daily routines.
- Recording children’s development.
- Ensuring self-compliance with Centre policies.
- Understanding relevant Licensing regulations.
If you have demonstrated previous experience working within a Child Care environment and have a minimum of Certificate III in Children’s Services, we encourage you to apply.
Aligned to Demonstrated Experience, the successful incumbent will have:
Essential:
Demonstrated experience in:
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction from supervisor
- Certificate III Children’s Services
- Experience working with Children
Desirable:
- First Aid Training
- Mandatory Reporting
Salary for the role is in accordance with the South Australian Municipal Salaried Officers Award (SAMSOA) and Council’s Enterprise Agreement at Level 1.
