About the Role
Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, The Internet of Things, we are an innovative and agile City preparing for the future.
Our City has over $3.1 billion in assets managed in 5 portfolios being; Public Space, Transport, Integrated Water, Clever City and Buildings. In a context of significant population growth, rates capping, and the challenge of urban infrastructure renewal, some of the key priorities for the position include:
- Lead the development of Council’s Clever City Asset Portfolio (Business technology hardware, Public lighting, utilities and Fleet and Plant) to drive innovation and sustainability in line with Council’s Strategic vision.
- Lead the development and implementation of the organisation’s 10year Asset Management Plan for the Clever City Asset Portfolio.
- Plan the organisation’s 10year renewal and compliance programs for the Clever City Asset Portfolio.
- Work on exciting Projects such as Fisherman’s Bend Urban Renewal Zone, Anzac Station Domain Project and various RMIT partnership projects
About You
You are an innovative change agent with extensive knowledge and experience in future technologies. You understand asset management in a dynamic and complex, infrastructure organisation (preferably in a local council) with demonstrated success transforming organisational capability and culture in relation to asset management and future technologies.
