Mackay Regional Council is seeking an Executive Manager Waste Services to be a key member of our leadership team, shaping a modern council. About the role Mackay Regional Council is seeking an exceptional leader to drive a culture of continual improvement within its waste services team. The successful candidate will have a background in waste management, detailed industry knowledge, understanding of resource recovery operations design and be capable of providing leadership and strategic direction to this important and public facing area of Council's operations. A tertiary qualification in a field relevant to the waste management function is essential and a postgraduate qualification in Management would be highly regarded.
