Mackay Regional Council has a rare opportunity for a Construction Supervisor to join our Field Services team, based at Paget Depot.

The Role

To plan, organise, supervise and undertake projects relating to the maintenance, rehabilitation and/or upgrade of Council infrastructure (particularly Water and Sewerage assets), within budget and time allocations/constraints, in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Demonstrated experience working as a Supervisor within the Water Industry or Local Government / public water and wastewater infrastructure construction industries.
• Demonstrated experience in record keeping and quality inspection document control.
• Sound level of computer literacy, in particular the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite.
• Demonstrated ability to read, interpret and understand complex engineering design drawings and standard drawings.
• Current General Construction Safety White
• Current QLD ‘C’ Class drivers licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
