As a Side Arm Driver, you play a crucial role in ensuring timely waste collection services in the Sutherland Shire. Your responsibilities include:

• Collecting Garbage, Recycle, and Green Waste Bins efficiently
• Maintaining contamination-free waste products
• Performing vehicle inspections and reporting any defects
• Following professional driver obligations and National Heavy Vehicle Law compliance

• Package: $$70,259.57 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation. Additional daily driver allowances in accordance with Waste Agreement where applicable 
• Hours of work: Permanent Full time (38hours) with a 9-day fortnight

**To meet Council's WHS requirements and in accordance with Council's Covid-19 Safety Plans, this position has been identified via risk assessment to be required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or provide evidence of an approved medical contraindication, you will be required to produce evidence as part of the application process. Successful applicants are subject to ID checks, Functional Assessment, Reference checks, Qualification checks, and Work Rights verification.
