Our Marketing and Communications team is fast-paced, energetic and delivers proactive communication strategies for a vibrant regional local government.

The Senior Officer Creative and Digital is responsible for the City’s design content and supports all digital channel functions with a primary focus on ensuring brand consistency, optimisation, and quality assurance. As a Senior Officer, the role assists with the development and implementation of strategies and initiatives, and the workflow of marketing requests. 

About you

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrated experience of professional design principles and understanding of publishing standards and branding guidelines.
  • High-level web development skills including intermediate HTML and CSS knowledge and experience in Content Management Systems. Must have the ability to update and maintain websites with an understanding of accessibility requirements, user experience, and integrations.
  • Advanced proficiency using the Adobe Creative Suite products and demonstrated skills in Microsoft Office.
  • At least three years of professional experience in graphic design or web design.
  • Tertiary/Vocational qualifications (or equivalent 3+ years workplace experience) in visual design, marketing and communications or similar discipline.
  • Well-developed project management skills and ability to work within strict production deadlines.
  • Ability to manage workflow, deadlines and adequately track the progress of projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level interpersonal skills including the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Current satisfactory National Police Clearance.
  • Current WA “C” Class driver’s license

Salary and Benefits

Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Salary ranges between $94,930 to $103,901
