About the Role
Based at theCarinya Aged Care Facility, Miles, you will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a high standard of care in an atmosphere where all residents are made to feel valued members of the facility and community.
Reporting to the Aged Care Facility Coordinator, you will:
be either responsible for providing clinical assessments of residents and delivery of nursing care; or delivering nursing care under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse;
have a thorough understanding of Aged Care Standards; and
develop and implement care plans in consultation with health professionals, staff and/or representatives and meet ongoing validation requirements.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
a current registration with the Australian Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA);
a current senior first aid certificate and be willing to undergo a National Police Criminal History Check;
the ability to communicate and ensure that client activities and other appropriate information is documented, in line with professional and legal standards; and
experience with delivering and actively promoting a holistic approach to care.
