The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of a corporate wide Enterprise Risk System addressing Health & Safety, Environmental, Financial, Legal and Reputational Risks.  This is a key management role with significant scope and responsibility.

About you

We are looking for a leader with a solid understanding of a broad range of risk dynamics within a complex environment.  You must be a strategic thinker that can develop and implement systems and influence behaviour in relation to business critical risk areas, projects and business continuity management.  You must be able to engage with stakeholders and other partners to continually manage the organisations risk profile and promote a culture of risk awareness aligned to the organisations corporate values.

You must have:

  • Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation an Corporate Enterprise Risk System and associated frameworks preferably compliant with AS ISO 31000:2018 Risk management – Guidelines.
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of WHS Management System, implementation and management of safety management systems, preferably compliant with ISO AS/NZS 45001.
  • Exceptional communication and interprsonal skills, including the ability to build relationships, negotiate, drive behavioural change and provide practical advice and support.
  • Ability to engage appropriately with staff at all levels of the organisation resulting in cultural change where enterprise risk responsibilities become an integral part of managing the business.
  • Proven experience in project management including the ability to lead and manage other members of a project team.
