As the Amoonguna Store Operator you will be responsible for ensuring effective store operations and providing excellent customer service through effective implementation and management of retail operations.

Essential Criteria

• Current NT Driver's License
• Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience
• Good working knowledge of MYOB and POS systems
• Strength in developing and mentoring staff
• Demonstrated experience in scheduling and coordinating multiple tasks
• Demonstrated self-management skills and ability to excel in a remote environment
• Experience working with Indigenous Australians in a remote location

Key Tasks

• Ensure compliance and effective store management of stock, cash handling, food handling and hygiene
• Ensure that quality customer service is provided at all times
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers in obtaining the most cost effective and value for the money goods
• Manage stock control and purchasing using established procedures for procurement
• Complete daily and weekly cash reconciliations
• Regularly review pricing structures and sales strategies
• Maintain Store office supplies and IT equipment
