Manager Health Building and Environmental Services
Narromine Shire has a population of over 6000 people in the rural townships of Narromine, Trangie and Tomingley and the surrounding rural areas. Narromine is located a traffic free 40 km (25 minutes) from the regional city of Dubbo.
Narromine Council is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to fill the position of Manager Health Building and Environmental Services.
This position will manage Council’s building, environmental and public health functions including building and food premises inspections, noxious weeds, ranger services, landcare program and EPA licence requirements.
To be successful in this role you will possess tertiary qualifications in a related field, A2 certification. You will have demonstrated experience with the relevant legislation and developed people management skills.
This is a full time permanent position and is subject to the Local Government (State) Award. An attractive salary package of up to $125,000 is offered. A leaseback vehicle is available with this role. Relocation and rental assistance is also available for the right candidate.
