As you contribute to the provision of water and sewerage services to the community you will work within a supportive team environment. We are looking for someone with water and sewer knowledge who is willing to learn and work in a team at technical level. You will deliver quality assurance of new assets during the construction, testing and commissioning phases across the Central Coast Region.


Key activities of this role include:

  • Oversee the construction of new assets and ensure compliance with approved design drawings/specifications;
  • Provide technical advice and constructability input during the review of engineering plans for the creation or modification of water and sewerage assets including pipelines, valve structures and pumping stations;
  • Work closely with developers and contractors during the construction and commissioning process to ensure assets are fit for purpose;
  • Co-ordinate and oversee the acceptance testing and commissioning of new assets to allow an efficient transfer from the construction phase to operational phase.

This role provides a salary range of between $75.1k to $90.1k per annum + superannuation.


A vehicle is provided for official duties and private use leaseback is available in accordance with Council’s Vehicle Policy.


A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role. This arrangement may be subject to change.


Applicants may be required to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus or demonstrate their immunity.
