Manager Tourism and Events
Council is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic tourism marketing and industry development expert. The Tourism and Events Unit at Eurobodalla Shire Council is in the midst of positive change which makes it an exciting and opportune time to be at the forefront of destination management in NSW.
Eurobodalla Tourism has recently seen the launch of a new brand and brand strategy, hand in hand with a pivotal co-operative marketing agreement with Destination New South Wales to grow awareness of the Eurobodalla across key target markets. This, together with a recently adopted Events Strategy, a Tourism Wayfinding Strategy, a Nature Based Tourism Study and significant planning work in the area of mountain biking and town centre activation presents a strong strategic basis to sustainably grow the visitor economy in the Shire.
The opportunity exists for a tourism leader to lead a small dynamic team and work collaboratively across the organisation, with Destination NSW and the tourism industry to implement key award-winning marketing initiatives, tourism industry development and event growth.
Total remuneration for the role is in the range $105,126.71 to $112,331.44 gross per annum consisting of:
- $96,006.13 to $102,585.79 base salary, plus
- $9,120.58 to $9,745.65 superannuation (at 9.5%), plus
- A fully maintained Council leaseback vehicle
