An exciting new position has opened up for an Aquatic Duty Manager reporting to the Coordinator Aquatic Operations, the successful applicant will be responsible for assisting the Aquatic Coordinator in the operation of the Town of Port Hedland’s Aquatic Centre in accordance with Council Policy and health regulations to provide a safe and attractive environment for patrons.

The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:

  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Qualifications to operate a Group 1 leisure Facility in accordance with Section 6.2 of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operations, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities
  • Current First Aid
  • Lifeguard Bronze Medallion
