Weighbridge Attendant - Weekend

- Temporary 12 month part time – fortnightly weekend shifts
- Rate commencing from $49.45 p/h for Saturday & $65.94 p/h for Sunday inc loadings
- Some casual weekday shifts available
We currently have a vacancy in the Waste Management team for a weekend Weighbridge Attendant.
The Role:
Reporting to the Weighbridge Supervisor, your primary role is to assist with the handling of all telephone and face-to-face gatehouse enquiries from both internal and external customers and other staff.
You must have:
- Previous experience in operating an automated weighbridge and associated computer system.
- Current Class C Drivers Licence and Work Cover WHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW
- Supervision of depositing of waste and recycling materials by the public and Council staff, to ensure compliance with management requirements for operation of the facility when required
- Previous experience cashiering and reconciling accounts
- Conflict resolution skills and the ability to handle difficult customers and resolve disputes
