Cleaner, Glenden

We are currently looking for a permanent part-time Cleaner in our Planning, Environment and Community Services Directorate, based in Glenden. This part-time Cleaner position will be responsible for undertaking cleaning duties at Lake Elphinstone amenities, with the ability to undertake relief coverage at Isaac Regional Council offices, buildings, and general and fatigue accommodation. These duties include, but are not limited to: mopping and vacuuming of floors, damp dusting, waste management, re-stocking of supplies and completing cleaning schedules.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in cleaning services and customer service;
- An understanding of chemical and cleaning equipment;
- A strong work ethic;
- Attention to detail;
- An understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles;
- A ‘C’ Class Open Australian driver’s licence.
For this position, we offer:
- $25.35 per hour + allowances;
- Minimum 9 hours per week with flexibility to work up to 38 hours per week;
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading pro-rata;
- 12% super (in accordance with policy).
