Policy Project Coordinator



Council has an opportunity available for a suitable person to manage and coordinate the development of priority policies across Council within required timeframes on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months. We have 1 position full time up to 35 hours per week and a part time position with hours up to 21 hours per week.


The position is a key role and will require:

  • the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • the ability to apply processes relating to policy development across a range of Council areas
  • the ability to effectively manage time, priorities and understand complex issues. 


SALARY 

Salary will be paid in accordance with the Snowy Valleys Council Salary System at Grade 9 equating to $2,679.00 per fortnight (gross) to $3,015.30 per fortnight (gross) depending on skills, qualifications and experience plus 9.5% Superannuation.
