Project Officer - Facilities (Regional)

About the Opportunity

Based in at any of our regional centres (Dalby/Chinchilla/Miles/Wandoan and Tara), you will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and supporting various projects.

Reporting to the Coordinator Facilities Project Delivery, you will:

• Preparing detailed scopes of work, specifications, tender and contract documents.
• Assisting with the resolution of customer requests which will involve community liaison, provision of technical advice and solutions, preparation of formal written responses, and the preparation of quotations for works received by the Community.
• Developing, implementing and monitoring Project Management Plans.
• Supervising contractors and consultants, including contract and specification development and administration.

About yourself

The successful applicant will have:

• relevant qualification in a related field (Diploma in Project Management desirable) or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience;
• Work Health and Safety Induction White Card;
• Open C drivers licence;
• high level interpersonal skills;
• previous experience managing multiple demands whilst still delivering to strict deadlines;
• experience in the use of project management systems; and
• proven ability in producing solutions to problems and resolving issues using analytical reasoning and experience.
