Blackadder Associates is a Sydney based management consulting practice specialising in strategic advice and development programs for local government. The practice has been operating since 2007 and draws on the principal’s four decades of local government experience.

The company specialises in organisation and community strategic planning, management development, organisation reviews, executive recruitment, policy development and code of conduct reviews. It also has significant experience in providing training for councillors in governance and performance management, and for executive staff in performance management through performance agreements, mentoring and coaching. It has provided support for councils in Sydney, rural and regional New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory.
