About the role
The Engineer plays a critical role in the contribution to the sustainable lifecycle management of water and wastewater infrastructure assets. This includes catchment management, water sources, water treatment, distribution and reticulation systems, wastewater collection, treatment and recycling functions. Southern Downs Regional Council has an exciting range of water and wastewater upgrade, renewals and operational projects planned over the next few years to ensure a reliable supply of water and wastewater services to Southern Downs communities. With 2 positions available, this is an exciting opportunity for both graduates and experienced engineers with qualification and background in Water/Civil/Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to be part of team SDRC in delivering essential services.
