About the Role

This role is part time, permanent, with a minimum 40 hours per fortnight.

Based at the Carinya Aged Care Facility in Miles, you will provide holistic, safe, effective and quality care to residents.

Reporting to the Aged Care Facility Coordinator, you will:

• provide quality care to residents with activities of daily living, hygiene, dressing, grooming, mobility as required;
• assist with cleaning duties in the laundry; and
• assist with food-preparation, serving and hygiene in the kitchen.

About you

To be a successful applicant, you will have:

• a Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care);
• a National History Police Check (or able to obtain);
• a dedication towards delivering high quality service in residential care, meal handling, cleanliness and cleaning;
• compassion, empathy, patience and respect for residents, colleagues and visitors;
• an acceptable standard or verbal and written communication skills; and
• strong team work and interpersonal skills.
