  • Band 8 salary range $107,673 - $120,664 + 9.5% Superannuation

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced water professional to join a committed and passionate sustainability team. This is a great opportunity to get involved in planning for reduced water use, improved water quality and for our community.


The City of Port Phillip has a deep connection to water and is recognised as a leader in Integrated Water Management. The combined challenges of climate change and significant population growth mean that we have to manage water in more adaptive and collaborative ways.


About You

Ideally you are someone who possesses the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of Integrated Water Management programs, projects and policies
  • Work collaboratively to embed sustainability into Council’s operations and projects
  • Work with external stakeholders and partners to improve environmental outcomes for our community


Highly desirable:

  • Local government experience
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
