PRODUCTION MANAGER – St Kilda Festival



  • 6 months’ maximum term position
  • Duration: September 2019 – February 2020
  • Salary package of $102,500 + super
  • St Kilda location 


About the Role

The Festival is seeking a Production Manager for the 2020 event, with a focus on planning and implementation of all production and logistics for each element of the Festival and supervision of relevant staff. The Festival will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2020.


The St Kilda Festival is a flagship event for the City of Port Phillip; an annual event that seeks to achieve the following objectives:

  • Iconic branding that showcases the City of Port Phillip whilst specifically promoting St Kilda, increasing visitation rates of tourists. It is a brand that is known to the local community, wider Melbourne and internationally.
  • A commitment to live music which is a vehicle to promote vibrancy as well as specifically supporting local, young and emerging musicians.
  • Longer term sustainable economic benefit for local traders.
  • Community engagement for local and wider communities which contributes to City of Port Phillip as a cultural hub. 


About You

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience at a senior management level within technical and production related roles working on large scale outdoor events.
