Things you'll do
Reporting to the Team Leader, we are seeking experienced development assessment officers to join an enthusiastic and dynamic, passionate about planning and committed to Local Government team. You will -
Provide technical advice on landscape related matters associated with development proposals
Undertake inspections of completed development to check for compliance with approvals
Prepare plans and participate in the delivery of Council’s street tree planting program
Participate in project teams dealing with issues associated with the functions and responsibilities of Shire Planning, including preparation of planning policies.

Package: $91,300 to $101,000 gross p.a. + superannuation (salary packages will be negotiated based on skills and experience).
Hours of work: Temporary full time, up to 2 years, 35 hours per week, with the options of a 19 day month (flexi time).
