Director Sustainable Development
The Shire of Dardanup blends the picturesque farming hinterland of Dardanup and Ferguson Valley with an expanding urban residential and commercial hub in Eaton, where our Administration Centre is located. Close to the Collie River and Leschenault Estuary plus only minutes from Bunbury, the Shire has been identified as a regional growth corridor with planning underway for the new city of Wanju with a projected population of 50,000.
The Director Sustainable Development will be one of two senior executive positions reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The position is responsible for Development Services, Emergency Management and Law Enforcement, Recreation and Community. The Director in partnership with the Chief Executive Officer and the Executive Team will play a key role in the overall management and leadership of the organisation including its culture and performance.
The position will be offered on a performance based employment contract up to five years, with an annual cash salary range of $150,000 up to $170,000 plus 12.5% superannuation, private use of vehicle, five weeks annual leave, discounted gym membership, Corporate Wellness program & Health Insurance discounts and an additional 10 days Executive Leave.
