Planning Administration Support Officer
We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent person to fill a temporary (18 month) part time (0.8 FTE/4 days per week) position within the Planning Services Unit to assist and support the statutory planning functions and services of Council.
Key responsibilities will include:

Work as an effective team member and assist other staff
-
Ensure a high level of customer service and output is maintained

Provide administration duties including word processing
-
Issuing statutory notices pertaining to planning legislation
-
Provide research and background information on various matters
-
Provide accurate, efficient data entry including preparation of relevant documents

Handling phone and counter enquiries
To be successful in the role you will have:
-
Certificate in office administration or similar, and/or previous experience in office administration and customer service

Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal, written, spelling and grammar

Highly developed time management and organisational skills
-
Experience providing effective administration support to a team
This is a temporary part time (4 days per week) Band 4 position. For operational reasons the successful applicant will need to work on the following days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
