An exciting opportunity has been created for an experienced governance professional within the Legal and Governance Division. The Coordinator Governance will be responsible for leading and managing the governance activity within the corporate governance team. The position will preferably be qualified in public policy, corporate governance and management.
The Coordinator Governance will be required to influence, negotiate and upward brief in a number of areas including policy, internal investigations, privacy and delegations.
This position will coordinate the work activity for the team and will manage and develop two governance officers. The position also requires contemporary experience in managing Code of Conduct investigations including interview planning and the taking of witness statements. A sound working knowledge of the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 is essential.
The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication and report writing skills. The ability to receive and manage sensitive information and resolve complex issues along with experience in corporate governance within an organisation is also essential.
