The Shire of Wyalkatchem requires a Town Maintenance Hand/Gardener to work in our Parks & Gardens Team. The position requires you to work autonomously across the Town’s community spaces, streetscapes, parks, gardens, sporting and recreation and reserves and includes the operation of plant & equipment items necessary to maintain these areas in the desired condition. Employment conditions are in accordance with the Municipal Employee Award 2021 (WA) with salaries significantly above award rates plus other allowances and the lifestyle friendly roster of a 9-day fortnight. The Shire also offers location/housing subsidies and is keen to attract people to live and work in this great community. To be considered you must possess a C Class license with an MR / HR license highly desirable.
