Community Support Officer


THE ROLE

The role on offer will be assisting the Community Wellbeing and Inclusion team with a range of programs and activities including (but not limited to) community development planning, disability, youth and seniors initiatives and event preparation and delivery.

We are looking for someone with well developed facilitation and communication skills. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to plan, deliver and monitor projects. An understanding of broad issues, trends and government policy and procedures will be looked at favorably. Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate that you can work independently and in a team environment and that you have the ability to develop marketing plans, manage project budgets and apply for funding and support packages.

This is a 12 month, full time position.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment functional assessment, psychometric assessment, a National Police History Check and provide a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate prior to commencement.
