About The Role This is a project-focused role providing responsive support to the Co-ordinator Rates & Valuations in the effective and efficient development and provision of a range of Revenue Unit tasks and activities. About You Year 12 or equivalent study, with a relevant post-secondary qualification (below diploma or degree) desirable. Sufficient work experience providing a base knowledge of local government practice, law, regulation, procedure, process, policy etc. or the demonstrated ability to quickly establish a comprehensive understanding of these matters. We are seeking a person who is enthusiastic, has high levels of judgement and decision making abilities, with interpersonal skills and interpretative skills, is a good communicator, and is a self-starter willing to grow the position About Us Horsham Rural City Council is a vibrant municipality located approximately 300 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. The majority of its 19,880 residents are located in Horsham, a hub for health care, niche retail, education and schooling, community services, arts, sports and culture. The region is a significant producer of dryland, broad-acre cereals and agriculture is one of the region's main industries.
