Blayney Shire Council seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced senior executive with a proven record of accomplishment who can provide strong leadership and continue to build on its strong recent track record of achievement which was recognised in the recent AR Bluett Memorial Award. The opportunity now exists for a talented, versatile, energetic, and progressive leader to drive the future success of the organisation. Reporting to the Mayor and accountable directly to the Council, the General Manager will lead a multi-disciplined workforce responsible for the strategic, social and economic sustainability of this vibrant community. To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrated successful record of sound management, leadership and business acumen and possess a high-level understanding of regional and rural issues, regional cooperation, change management principles and customer delivery standards.
