CBCity is one of the largest Council’s in New South Wales, responsible for delivering quality services to our community and we know that together we create a great city we love.  

The People and Performance Department is leading the charge to transform our CBCity Culture and to do everything through the lens of the customer and safety.  

The Manager People Transformation will provide strategic direction, leadership and accountability of the unit. You will lead three high performing teams that specialise in the areas of Business Improvement, Learning & Engagement and Culture & Change

The position will support the organisation, now and into the future, to transform leadership and culture, processes and capabilities.

Some of your duties will include:

  • Provide Clear direction and action on agreed plans to enable organisation alignment, and a focus on the achievement of goals.
  • Provide high level leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary team 
  • Engage and consult with stakeholders to identify their requirements and use this information to enable organisational direction, strategy and action.
  • Evaluate and continuously improve systems and processes.
  • Encourage Enthusiasm, resourcefulness and participation to drive performance.
  • Drive the innovation, agility and responsiveness of the Unit.
  • Utilise facts, data and knowledge in decision making.
  • Understanding of variation and its impacts on predictability, profitability and performance.
  • The delivery of value for all stakeholders in an ethical, social and environmentally responsible manner.

Constructive culture and values of the organisation through decisions and exemplary behaviour.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in HRM/Organisational Development/Business or related discipline and/or relevant experience
  • Significant leadership experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams
  • C Class Drivers' Licence
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in implementing improvement initiatives or change management programs
  • A high level of facilitation and presentation skills.
The Salary for this opportunity starts from $157,262 per annum + Car allowance + 10% super.
This opportunity will be offered on a permanent full time basis
