Financial Analyst

We currently have a unique opportunity to join our Finance team and are seeking a motivated, experienced and highly organised Financial Analysts to effectively coordinate and ensure compliance with Council’s financial policies.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have accounting or financial experience, great communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple task and timelines. Your experience will allow you to assist with the preparation of budgets and financial reporting, audits, accounts payable and receivable, bank receipting and various reconciliations including debtors and creditors.

A high level of computer literacy is essential for this role, along with solid time management skills and previous experience in local government is desirable and would be looked upon favourably.

The successful applicant will be required to complete a pre-employment functional assessment, psychometric assessment, a National Police History Check and provide a copy of their COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate prior to commencement.
