As Manager, Development Services you’ll bring a passion for positive planning outcomes, be adept and willing to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and balance often competing needs with complex policy, process, organisational and political dynamics. A champion for positive change, you’ll quickly establish your reputation as a trusted advisor for senior decision-makers and provide leadership, direction and support to your team. You’ll be politically astute and bring a strong understanding of statutory planning and growth areas, you’ll embrace problems, think strategically and analytically and implement tactical solutions. You’ll bring a proven track record in leading and managing teams and be highly experienced in assessing all types of planning applications in both urban and rural settings, with significant experience in relevant legislation and regulations, planning scheme provisions and related policies. You’ll be part of a dynamic, focussed and energetic team that has a genuine passion for achieving the best for our community.
