We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic learner who is excited about starting a career in Planning and Development Administration. This position may be based in our Tumut or Tumbarumba offices with occasional travel to other locations. Reporting to Coordinator Growth and Development the Business Administration Trainee will learn all aspects of the Growth and Development Team. This Traineeship is offered on a 12-month Fixed Term arrangement and will work a 10-day fortnight (7 hours per day). The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day service delivery of the team and maintain records and databases to ensure information is both processed and readily accessible. They will also provide general administrative assistance as well as administrative support for meetings. Our trainees contribute to the image of the council as a customer-focused organisation. The essential criteria for this role are:
SALARY Salary will be paid in accordance with the Training Bands of Snowy Valleys Council’s salary system. This will be dependent on age and previous qualifications and will range from $1,220 – $1,426 per fortnight plus super and applicable allowances.
