Box Office Sales & Administration Officer

Permanent Part Time - (16hrs/2 days per week)

$31.68ph + super

The Wangaratta Performing Arts & Convention Centre require a friendly individual who enjoys a varied role and can think on their feet. This front-of-house role provides exceptional customer service to valued customers at the Box Office, along with outstanding administration skills that vary from cash handling and daily reconciling, to accurate financial reporting providing support across all of the venues operations.

This job share position is for 2 days per week working in a busy and dynamic team to deliver high-quality, professional theatre and conference experiences. The successful applicant will be an excellent communicator with an eye for detail and high level computer and organisational skills.

This is not a typical admin role, you will need to relate to a diverse range of customers, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and resolve enquiries at first point of contact. Previous experience in ticketing sales as well as finance and venue management software would be advantageous.

A detailed Position Description is available below.  Further enquiries about this position should be directed to Tanya Camplin - Preforming Arts Centre Coordinator on 0429 939 642.

The successful applicant will be required to provide a copy of their Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate prior to commencement.

Applications close Monday 30th May 2022 at 3pm.

When submitting your application, you will need to include:

  • Your current contact details;
  • A cover letter to your application. This document is an introduction to your application and will generally include an outline as to why you have applied for the role;
  • A current resume with a minimum of two current referees;
  • A letter stating how you meet the key selection criteria, providing evidence that clearly demonstrates what you have achieved in relation to the position. It is helpful to use each selection criteria as a heading and then explain how your skills and experience meet that criterion; and
  • Copies of any relevant qualifications or licences
