Senior Information Officer
This is a new role to our Corporate Governance Unit.
About the role:
- Provide a high quality Records and Information Management Services, including implementation and continuous improvement of records management policies, guidance and procedures
- Assist with Council’s obligations under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act)
- Provide records and information management support to Council.

We are seeking:
- Ability to collaborate with staff and Council stakeholders
- Understanding of Records Management within a corporate business environment
- Experience using computer technology to access information including retrieval and data entry
- Team player - ability to work within a team environment, share knowledge and provide support in times of increased workloads.

Where it's located:
This position is based in Murwillumbah, and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
