Mackay Regional Council is seeking a Casual Kitchenhand to join us at our multi-award-winning facility, the Mackay Entertainment Convention Centre. You will provide consistent and high-quality standard of food service to all clients, ensuring smooth delivery of theatre, function and conference services.

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen role
• Knowledge of current Food Handling Regulations
• Previous experience working in a team-based environment
• Sound written and verbal communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work in a flexible roster-based workplace, which includes weekdays, weekends and evenings.

Desirable:

• Relevant hospitality courses or qualifications.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
• QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
