About the role Do you want a lead planning role with real influence in one of Australia's most beautiful places? The Clarence Valley Council is looking for a Coordinator for our Development Services Team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of best-practice development outcomes across a team of town planners and development engineers. With experience in leading high-performing teams, working across the development assessment discipline and delivering exceptional outcomes for our customers and community, you will lead the delivery of professional services across development applications, compliance and contribute to improving our planning instruments. The successful applicant will have experience under the New South Wales planning framework (or similar comparative experience), be outcomes-focused and be passionate about the creation vibrant, sustainable and connected communities. The role encompasses a 'continual improvement' focus to our business, including development assessment reform, the use of digital systems and data, engaging proactively with community, industry and government stakeholders.
