The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Management Accounting, you will play a key role as the conduit between Finance and the organisation in providing accurate, timely and insightful financial information and advice. This position will also see you partnering with Coordinators, Managers and Directors to provide financial analysis to ensure their understanding of the financial impacts of activities in their department. You will have a focus on improving financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances and trends, in addition to assisting in the preparation of the annual budget.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree qualified accountant with progression towards CPA or CA accreditation;
  • Relevant experience in Business Partnering or Management Accounting;
  • Proficient in the use of large financial systems including Technology One or ERP Oracle Fusion Systems and Microsoft Office products;
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with relevant Managers/Budget Officers in respect to Business Partnering and the provision of value adding financial services to staff; and,
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written including with stakeholders who have limited understanding of finance concepts.
