Approximately $170,000 (total remuneration package) 3-5 year contract available - hybrid Yarra City Council has an exciting opportunity for an influential leader to join the People and Culture Division as Manager Corporate Risk and Safety. A pivotal member of the Division, this management position will report directly to the Group Manager People and Culture. The successful candidate will pursue branch, divisional and corporate commitments by building sound working relationships across the organisation and with key external stakeholders. With a focus on embedding an organisational culture of safety, the right candidate will also effectively inculcate a risk management program identifying and minimising Yarra City Council's exposure to known and foreseeable risks. The successful candidate will have proven leadership and management skills and strong political acumen reflecting sound business decision making. Heading up a professional and committed technical team and working across the organisation, the ability to lead and develop staff at all levels is vital in this role.
