About the role:

  • Reports to our Senior Planning Administration Officer;
  • Assists with customer enquiries relating to planning and building matters;
  • Assists with general administration for the planning and building teams as required;
  • Provides assistance to the planning team with development applications, subdivision and site inspections;
  • Also assists the building services team with processing and issuing certified building permit applications.

About you:

To be considered for this role you must be able to meet the following selection criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar position or related field of work;
  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication skills both written and oral;
  • Developed initiative, research and problem solving skills;
  • Highly developed and accurate computer skills, particularly in data entry; and
  • Ability to work in a fast paced busy environment.

Applicants with, or studying towards, a planning or building qualification will be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must also hold a current valid ‘C’ class Western Australian driver’s licence and possess or be able to obtain a Police Clearance no more than 6 months old.
