We are looking for a passionate Community Engagement professional to drive the implementation of the City’s Community Engagement Framework. You will be part of a small public relations and engagement team and will need to work autonomously, be self-driven and have a broad skill set/experience as you will get to work across all facets of community. The ideal candidate with have the natural ability to effectively consult, engage and communicate with a diverse range of both internal and external stakeholders.

To be considered for this role you must address, in no more than three pages, the following essential selection criteria:

  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering stakeholder engagement strategies and driving continual improvement in community and stakeholder engagement;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IAP2 community engagement principles and processes;
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery and / or facilitation of workshops , presentations, digital content and fact sheets; and
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in a related field will be highly regarded.

Applicants must also hold a current C class driver’s licence and be able to provide a National Police Clearance no more than six months old.
